Breanna began dancing at the age of 2 at a local studio that provided classes in jazz and tap. Not long after she wanted to start ballet classes so moved to Reflections Academy of Dance and has been there ever since. Taking classes in classical ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acrobatics and hip hop and completing BBO examinations in both classical ballet and tap she soon realised she wanted to pursue a career in dancing.
Breanna recently graduated from Safety Bay Senior High School where she was awarded the full scholarship to the cheer-dance specialist program in 2012. Throughout her years at Safety Bay she was selected to attend three dance tours to different parts of Australia where she completed workshops at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance, Sydney Dance Company and Urban Dance Centre gaining experience and knowledge on different styles.
During High School she also became involved in Cheer-leading, competing up to level 4 in competitions inside and outside of school. Traveling to Queensland for Cheer-leading competitions Breanna was able to experience competing at an international level. She completed a certificate II in dance in 2016 and won the excellency award for dance at her high school graduation.
Breanna began student teaching at Reflections Academy of Dance at an early age and started teaching classes in 2016 where she discovered a love for children and helping them learn.
In the future she would love to become more involved in the dance industry and her dream is to become a dancer on cruise ships.
Chelsea Sewell has loved being on stage performing from a very young age.
Chelsea was accepted into Principal Academy of Dance and has completed her cert IV, diploma and advanced diploma in performing arts majoring in dance. Chelsea then went on to complete her professional semester at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. To top off her qualifications she also holds a Cert IV in training and assessment which allows her to deliver qualifications in dance.
The past couple of years she has been in and out of the country working in the dance industry. Some highlights of her career are performing as a back up dancer for the singer Jason Derulo in New York City as well as completing a contract in Dubai as a dancer at Dubai Parks and Resorts. Her latest accomplishment has been performing for Royal Caribbean International on board the worlds largest cruise ship Harmony of the Sea’s.
Chelsea is a freelance dance teacher around Perth and loves sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with every student she comes across.
Emily Briggs
Emily began her dance career in 2002 at the age of 6. She has trained in various styles including Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/ Contemporary and Acro over the years.
She has been to the Australian Dance Festival on numerous occasions to dance and attend workshops with some of Australia’s most renowned choreographers. Emily has competed in many of the local dance competitions during her dance career.
Emily attended John Curtin College of the Arts in both the Ballet and Contemporary Gifted and Talented Programs. Emily also completed a Certificate II in Dance.
Emily has completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management, and has also attained her Acrobatic Arts Module 1. Emily has been trained and certified to teach Ready Set Dance for the past 4 years, and has been lucky enough to be the head of the Ready Set Dance department at her other local studio.
Emily is planning on starting her education to become a Personal Trainer in the near future and will hopefully be able to bring her love of Personal Training and Dance together.
Emily has been a loyal dance teacher to her local studio for the past 7 years and many of the students look up to her and aspire to follow in her footsteps. As a teacher she hopes to pass on her passion for dance to the younger generation.
